ARCH ENEMY LIVE APOCALYPSE 2006
|
Review: Swedish
death metal mongers Arch Enemy release there first full length DVD. Including
2 discs. The main disc with their full length concert at the London Forum
from Dec. 2004 featuring 18 metal riveting tracks. It really captures the
intensity the whole band brings to a live show. Also on disc 1 you get 3 extra
live tracks taking from there concert in Manchester in Dec. 2005. Disc 2
features all the extras with 4 videos including 2 versions of Nemesis with
the original version and the directors cut and you can also change the view
on this video. You also get 3 songs from the main live show with mulitiple
angles where you can watch just Angela, or just Daniel on the drums or watch
the 3 guitar (I bass of course), so its a cool option. I especially enjoy
the views from the side and on stage. Really gives you a feel of being on
stage from the other side if your not lucky enough to be in a band playing
in front of wild heavy metal fans. Apart from that you get the behind the
scenes looks with interviews and off stage footage and footage from tour buses.
And some gear talk from Daniel for the drummers out there and Michael going
through his guitar and gear. Every Arch Enemy fan will want this DVD. It
is nice to see the interviews to see them not so intense like they are on
stage and seeing them joke around (especially Sharlee) and seeing them smile
as they don't do that much on stage either. Arch Enemy is one of my fav bands
right now and this just adds to it. |
